After having become a Certified trainer and gone back to your school a certified trainer is required to follow the guidelines of the M.T.I.A. Academy and if having maintained a high standard and fulfilled all the requirements as laid out in the guidelines to the M.T.I.A. Academy a trainer may be upgraded to KRU.

Basic Requirements

- For Men and Women

- Over 25 years old (some exceptions)

- Must be healthy as you will be tested

- Should have 1 or 2 years experience in Muay Thai or other Martial Art

- The biggest difference between Trainer and Kru Certification is that you will learn more Business Leadership skills on the Kru course for those wishing to open their own gym!
